Abstract

The imbalance of intestinal flora is closely related to the occurrence of diseases. Oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine and its preparations can affect the intestinal flora, improve the imbalance of intestinal flora, and keep the intestinal tract relatively stable. At the same time, the intestinal flora can also transform the components of traditional Chinese medicine, which may not only achieve the effect of increasing efficacy and reducing toxicity, but also may lead to the result of reducing efficacy and increasing toxicity. By summarizing the research progress in the mutual regulation of traditional Chinese medicine and intestinal microbes, the author clarifies the research on the regulation of intestinal microbes of traditional Chinese medicine, which is provided support for the research on the medicinal ingredients and mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine.
